This is a super old-timed specimen of extremely rare cadmium carbonate Otavite, typically accompanied by less blue-green Rosasite. Here you see glistening cream-white microcrystals richly covering the COMPLETE obviously Smithsonite bearing MATRIX. Otavite was firstly discovered at Tsumeb by Otto Schneider in 1906 and named after the Otavi Highlands. This is a super piece as rich as possible and analysed as well.
