Pyrargyrite (Ref: 272)

36mm x 35mm x 25mm
$1115 *
This is a fine mini of dark, multifaced Pyrargyrite from the famous Samson Mine of St. Andreasberg. The crystals are excellent defined, sharp edged and they are showing a high metallic sheen. The slightly tarnished and relatively large crystals are superbly striated and the are only minor imperfections as well. . A classic old-timed specimen from this most classic locale in the Harz Mountains and this is a piece that is much better in person, and almost certainly pre-dates the 1850´s.Data last checked on 31st Dec 2021 - specimen may no longer be available
