We see superbly defined and red-brown coloured, multifacetes crystals of Andradite garnet on matrix. They are showing sharp, bevelled edges, a high luster and a super flawlessness. During the last decade, large, well-formed crystals of Andradite were produced from the skarns at Huanggang, a remote mine in Inner Mongolia that is now famous for multiple species.
