195mm x 180mm x 140mm
minID: LJA-YC5
$1702 *
Druse of Quartz (variety amethyst) crystals, one of them clearly dominant and with a considerable size. They are coating the surfaces of a group of now missing Calcite crystals, preserving their original shape. The crystals show a neat geometric color zoning, clearer on the prism faces and deep violet on the terminations. The sample is from a not well known quarry at the classic Artigas área and where very interesting and esthetic samples are today being recovered.
