Topaz crystals, one of them clearly dominant, doubly terminated, of excellent luster and very transparent, with remnants of rhyolitic rock matrix. The smallest crystals are very rich in crystal faces as can be seen in the close-up photo.The piece is repaired on the left side of the main crystal, being a fracture perpendicular to the axis of the prism, but it does'nt affect to the beauty of the specimen as a whole.
The sample is from the James Catmur collection (number B667) whose label well send to the buyer.
