The aesthetics of this specimen are really crazy! Not only are there over 11 glassy phantom fluorite cubes, but they're on top of a really interesting calcite cave. The calcite forms a small cave or vug with openings that you can see right through. It's hard to really sense the 3D nature of the piece in a 2D photo, but there's a lot going on in there. The fluorite crystals are scattered across the top of the calcite cave, and the largest crystal is just under 2cm wide. The fluorite has strong phantoms with a purple core and clear, light, blue outer zone. The surface has a very glassy luster.
