This is an exceptionally large, iridescent Goethite specimen from the Tharsis Mines in Spain. Normally, the ones you see for sale are about 1/3rd this size, so this is really a nice, big example. The front side has botryoidal goethite with a vein of rainbow iridescence running down the middle of it. The backside also has some iridescent areas at the top while the rest of it shows exfoliated goethite revealing oxidized hematite. This is a realy nice specimen from a great location!
