Bisbee Azurite Vug (Ref: MB21-BISBEE)
Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Arizona, USA
140mm x 135mm x 83mm
$3800
Bisbee Azurite is among the most sought after in the world. It is of the highest quality color and exceptional rarity. This classic specimen is an azurite vug with botryoidal azurite balls on the exterior, and a soft, velvety hyper-saturated blue on the interior. There are some small traces of malachite as well. The botryoidal azurite crystals sparkle which is hard to pick up on the camera. This specimen is quite large for the locality, and specimens of this color and aesthetics are extremely hard to come by these days. Data last checked on 14th Sep 2021 - specimen may no longer be available
