This is a special calcite specimen for the true calcite collector! This amber-colored beauty comes from a rare find in Norway. There were actually two finds of this material, and this is from the older, original find. There is a tall primary calcite crystal that becomes quite transparent towards the termination. On one side it is covered with small calcite flowers of the same amber color. The condition appears to be perfect with no damage to the primary crystal or any of the smaller flower crystals. Just the bottom is broken off from the host.
