Painite is considered one of the Holy Grails of rare minerals. It is truly one of the rarest minerals on the planet. It was named in 1957 after its discoverer, British gemologist Arthur Charles Davy Pain. The Guinness Book of World Records has described Painite as THE rarest gem mineral in exist
