This is a Selenite with Kobyashevite from Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico. A gorgeous specimen of a surprise find from just before Tucson of around 2016 if i recall rightly, these "Kobyashevite" crystals were somehow chemically created down at the mine, by a technique I am still unfamiliar with but nevertheless am convinced that they are indeed, synthetic.Data last checked on 29th Jul 2024 - specimen may no longer be available
