This is a Calcite with Hematite from Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto Region, Namibia. Intergrown rhombohedrons of glassy and gemmy, colorless calcite exhibit a tiny dusting of subtle color - a preferential coating of hematite, thus giving the whole specimen a beautiful pinkish glow when backlit.Data last checked on 26th Aug 2024 - specimen may no longer be available
