A large and quite striking specimen of a new find of Calcite from the Longyan mine in Fujian, China. It features several large and lustrous Calcite rhombohedrons framing a small nicely contrasting stalactite of druzy Quartz. The Calcite is strongly fluorescent, exhibiting different reactions to shortwave and longwave UV light. IN PRISTINE condition, and quite showy for display.
