Group of fine elongated Goethite crystals, very sharp and lustrous, in a matrix of ferruginous rock partially covered by crystalline aggregates of Hematite in the form of crusts, and disseminated Quartz crystals giving a color contrast with the oxides.The specimen, an English classic from an iron mine in Cornwall which closed in 1883, comes from the old collection of Robert-Auguste Touchon.
